Johnny & I are glad you are here!   Bethel Assembly is more than just a place that we attend for worship and our place of employment -- it’s really home!

We love the atmosphere and the relationships that have been built over the years at Bethel.  There are many warm and friendly people at Bethel and I invite you to come and meet them …

“Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.  He called out to them, "Friends, haven't you any fish?"  "No," they answered.   He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.”

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Instead of giving you all that deep stuff about me that you’re never going to remember and maybe don’t care about anyway, here’s what you need to know about me in a nutshell …

  1.   Born in Thomasville, GA
  2.   Saved in May of 1973 -- still holding!
  3.   How I came to know the Lord – FOR REAL ; In 1986, a 65-year-old preacher challenged me to a basketball game and told me, “If I win, you come to my church, but if you win, I’ll leave you alone.”  Well, he won -- so did God.
  4.   Married – My wonderful wife, Alice
  5.   Children –  2 Daughters (Chanell & Kimberly)
  6.   Grandchildren – YES, and they're awesome! (Joshua & Ashley)
  7.   Hobbies – Family activities and enjoying life with people
  8.   Greatest Joy – Knowing Jesus Christ as my personal Savior
  9.   Pastor Johnny GreenIs that it?  No!  In addition to being a husband, father, and  pastor of this wonderful church – I am reaping so much joy at the things God has done and is yet to do! I’m living a dream! 

  Okay, now you can piece together the type of person I am – at least I hope so.   Bethel Assembly is a place where we call “Home.”
