Bethel's FAQ Page

Pastor John & Alice Green

What type of church are we?

Family-friendly for one thing ... we enjoy hearing about each others’ vacations, anniversaries, and birthdays and we celebrate together things like that.

Do you have anything for Young Adults?

We currently have a young adults Sunday School that meets on Sun morning @ 9:30am and a Bible Study that meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm at the church. Visit their web site to keep informed of YA activities! You are welcome to stop by.

Do we have anything for children?

We sure do! We have first class children under the leadership of Pastor Joy Hemler and we also have a fantastic youth group (Fusion Youth) under the leadership of Pastor Chris Noullet. In addition to the children and youth ministries, we have the girls and boys ministries that are awesome themselves. For the girls and very young boys, we have the Missionettes and for the boys, we have the Royal Rangers. They both meet the needs of our young people in a great way. They are recognized for their loyalty and dedication to these programs and they truly impact the Bethel community.

Do you have Sunday evening service?

Can’t tell you how many times we’ve had this question … Bethel Assembly does not have a regular Sunday evening service.

What’s a Sunday like at Bethel Assembly?

One thing about your visit to Bethel Assembly is that you will be greeted with a smile.   We think it’s like coming home after being away for a little while.   Sure, it can be intimidating going to a new church and we are no exception.   However, the people of Bethel Assembly make it a goal to extend to you warm greetings when you come in.

We begin our service at 10:30 am and go directly into worship … this is when you really don’t want to be late!   You can expect worship to be free and purposeful and it normally last about 20 to 30 minutes (depending on the Spirit).   We go from worship, most times, into a time of prayer and fellowship from there to the WORD.

The WORD is presented in messages that are “relevant” and “inspiring” to our lives.  We feel the entire Bible was given to us to help us understand more of God and we also believe God wants to have a close and continuous relationship with you and therefore we bring God’s Word in a manner of understanding.

After all this, we spend time “chatting” and hanging around … this is normally called fellowship – which we approve of wholeheartedly!   Looking forward to seeing you!
