YOU'RE HOME!

Ministries Ignite Adult Classes

Adult Classes

ages 18 and up

Living The Life
Church Lobby
Join us as we tackle the question "What does it mean to be a Christian"? We'll address easy and practical solutions on how to live a consistent Christian walk. Each week, we'll discuss how we were able to successfully put the previous week's lesson into practice during the week.

Visions Of Ministry
Room B101
God has a personal vision for your life and He wants you to know it even more than you do. We will continue our exploration of the Gospel of John with the goal of inspiring ministry and provoking class members to good works.   We will concentrate on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as well as those who surrounded Him to enter into discussions on apologetics, cults, and relevancy to believers today.  The class begins on 05 May and we pick up our study in John 5. Carl Palm and Mike Dugan will be teaming during this study.

Finding God in the Busyness of Life
Room B103
This study is for anyone who finds the daily demands of life squeezing out their ability to sit at the Master's feet. Your desire for intimacy with the Lord, for hearing His heart, many times goes unfulfilled as your mind whirls with the never-ending list of "things to do" and your schedule fills up with responsibilities and commitments that never seem to end. This study will take a fresh look at the familiar Bible account of Jesus' two friends, Mary and Martha. We will learn how each of us, whether Mary or Martha personality, can draw closer to our Lord: deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy. Be ready for book-based discussion with study guide assignments.

3:16
Room B102
On Wednesday Night, Ignite offers another classic study for today's searching adults. The much remembered and much talked about John 3:16, "For God so loved the World that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" is a genuine classic. This class will lead believers into discovering, once again, that real life can only be found in a faith relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage them to commit to living within that relationship. You will need "3:16" by Max Lucado and your Bible.

First Place 4 Health
Conference Room
First Place 4 Health is a great program for those who want to achieve greater balance in every area of life  by putting their relationship with Jesus Christ first, not just in theory, but in purposeful actions that lead to a positive transformation. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, achieve better health, or just want to develop a more disciplined lifestyle in the area of your spiritual life, First Place 4 Health is a great program to help you get started. Contact the church office or Jennifer Skelton for more information.

The Believer's Heart: God's Dwelling Place (taught in Spanish)
Room B104
Perhaps no Old Testament event so dramatically illustrates God's persistent desire to relate to His children as the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Through the tabernacle God initiated a deeper relationship with His Chosen People by bringing reconciliation and revealing His glory. And certainly, no Old Testament event so richly prefigures the coming of the true Tabernacle, Jesus Christ. In this in-depth Bible study you will be challenged to prepare your heart, like the holy of holies, to become a home for His love and glory — a dwelling place for the Most High God.
