Family Fellowship provides a family-friendly atmosphere for those that live in the Fort Meade area to fellowship and commune with one another. These monthly gatherings allow us Meade Eaters, as we are sometimes known, to literally break bread and partake in theme-designated dinners. While meeting at various venues such as Potomac Place Community Center on Fort Meade, houses of Bethel members, and the Bethel fellowship hall,we eat, we visit, and we build friendships.
Facilitators: Rick and Katrina Giannetti
Life Groups are what are similar to “small groups” where individuals meet in homes and various locations. We have a few at Bethel and the list is continually growing. Life Groups meet throughout the month and it’s easy to get connected with one.
Twitter, MySpace, and e-mail are not substitutes for real people. So here is an opportunity to get to know some real people. We are not a commitment-required program. We get together for a simple shared meal at someone’s house or participate in a group activity just “for the fun of it.”
Enjoying the Senior's Life! Forever Young is for those 55 and above. It's a time where we enjoy each other's company, spend time in fellowship, and discuss the things of life. You don't have to be over 55 to join but it does help! We meet on select Sundays after service - check the calendar for our next event.
Doubling as a Life Group through the week and a Home Group (Sunday School) on Sunday mornings, Special Touch is a fairly new group that is specific in its approach. It ministers directly to the needs of young children at Bethel who need a little extra time, love, and direction in their space at Bethel. You must contact the facilitator prior to attending this Life Group.
Bethel women get together every other Sunday at 7:45 p.m. for bowling. We are not about competition, some of us are happy if we break 100. It is a time that we can come together and have fun while getting to know each other better and have a great time.
