For the Fun of It

Twitter, MySpace, and e-mail are not substitutes for real people. So here is an opportunity to get to know some real people. We are not a commitment-required program.  We get together for a simple shared meal at someone’s house or participate in a group activity just “for the fun of it.”

We really welcome families with kids, because Christian kids seldom see Christians interact outside the church building. We want them to experience that family atmosphere outside their own home.

Why are we doing this “Forthefunofitters” thing? The book of Acts tells us that the believers came together in their homes and broke bread. We believe the atmosphere of a home makes it easier to invite our friends and neighbors, providing an opportunity to introduce them to our values and beliefs in a very personal way.
